How long to quarantine and what to be looking for?

Hey everyone, not really an emergency, but I'm getting some started pullets today (hopefully

) and I was wondering, how long do I quarantine and what should I be looking for? I'm thinking panting, sneezing, coughing, weird poops, feather loss, one of them just dropping over dead, but anything else?

Anything out of the ordinary really...limping, does their poop look normal, worms, visually inspect for lice/mites, scaly leg mites,pasty butt, lesions on combs and wattles etc...I'd quarantine for 30 days giving time for something to show up. Good luck!

I take the opportunity to go ahead & worm them, too, since they're quarantined. This will tell you if they were carrying a large worm load before you got them. KUDOS to you for quarantining!
