How long to set up an incubator? Now having issue with turner....

Quote:
With the turner plugged in you should, if you listen closely, be able to heard the motor.

The noise is faint and not constant, it only does one revolution every 4 hours.

Generally, the connections will only fit one way round. The straight long arm comes of the motor (it's a cam action) and the trays clip into the arm. The long arm only moves forward and backward, causing the trays to tip.

On the motor is the little arm coming out of the side of the motor in the slot on the side piece of the turner? I had one that the arm wasn't in the slot so consequently it wouldn't turn.

If I was using a turner, in a still air incubator. I would leave eggs in the turner and unplug the turner. That way the eggs are at the same level.

Oh my....I didn't have it plugged in! LOLOL

Thank you deerman, twigg, Katy, Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain, DaKid and JMajors so much! I put the eggs in about 38 hours ago.

The details were a great help...thanks for taking the time JMajors.

How long for bob-white quail to incubate?
