How long to treat?

My Gold Laced Cochin banty Roo Jack had a cold and was coughing and weezing pretty bad. I put him (and his hens) on antibiotics for the last week. He seems to be all better. No more coughing or weezing at all. Should I continue to treat for a few more days or should I stop? They are on Tetroxy mixed in the water. Neither of the hens got sick at all and other then the coughing Jack showed no other signs of illness.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately none of those diseases showed just coughing and weezing. He never went off his feed, acted strange, had runny poo or anything else. Seems better now but I guess I'll keep them on the antibiotics a few more days.
