Ah oh well... done did it... ill give it a few weeks before i hatch some again.... i did 1 tsp for a gallon of water... not a harsh dose. Ive been told to worm birds twice a year... then two weeks at least before you eat em... it should be all outta their system after a few weeks.

Not saying that posting is wrong jailer... just say well hail... its done already... haha. But however ive done it in the past with birds and im still alive so far.

I had never heard of wazine, I was going to say "two weeks is what I wait after medication"

but then I looked it up...

If you eat eggs from them and your berries explode, Let us know wilya?

The general consensus of what I've seen is two weeks but if you search the archives you will find many people who have eaten and incubated the eggs at various stages after using wazine. Wazine is made of the same stuff they use to treat people for round worms so I doubt it's very harmful.

I've had a lot of people tell me to use that for the quail. Not just from one source. If its safe to eat the bird after 14 days, I would think the eggs were safe after 14 days too... I dont question it, but it dont makes since to me..

Maybe that warning applies to birds still on production? Doesn't really make sense to me either.
