how long to wait before setting eggs

Ok, I split my chickens up last weekend from running all together and wondered what a good rule of thumb is before I can feel confident with getting pure breed chickens v/s barnyard mix.

I have 6 roosters and they were all mating with the hens. I know a hen can hold a rooster's sperm for 10 days but if she is with a rooster is the time less?

no, that time does not change.. I hold my chickens for at least 2 weeks , just to make sure..
