How long to wean chicks off heat in brooder in the coop? They are almost 7 weeks old and it’s 20 degrees at night.

Just take it out.
Put a huddle box in the coop for them. Put a large enough box to fit all the birds in it on its side and put bedding in it. Position it so so no drafts will blow into the opening.
They'll be fine.

I agree to just take it out. They are plenty old enough to no longer need it. I usually have mine off by 4 weeks
