How Long Under the Heat Lamp?

How long do I have to keep my peachicks under a heat lamp before I put them outside?

We keep ours under a heat lamp until they start to feather out reducing the heat every week after the 2nd week if it gets cold then we turn it up, we don't put ours on the ground til they are about 3 to 4 months old.
