I will wait 3 weeks before collecting eggs for hatching (sexlink x EE roo), I really want to control the outcome on this one.
He has already mated half the hens in front of my eyes in a few minutes, he's raging full of testosterone, OMG!
I've delayed the shipment of my EE and RIR eggs until early March so all is good!
For now my broody silkie is sitting on a few eggs so if we get any chicks in 3 weeks I'll be thrilled, if not oh well - incubation soon after that!
