How Long Until Eggs Are Fertile?

I moved two hens and a rooster into a pen on Tuesday. How long until their eggs become fertile?

It is fairly fast-- a couple of days or so after he starts mating with them. That can take a couple of weeks though

I would give them a few days to get used to each other... i would guess you should have fertile eggs after a week.

I have witnessed him breeding the hens so I was curious as to how long. Thanks for the info!
