Hello. I'm new here and new to keeping geese. We got ourselves four little gosling's this year for our backyard and so far they have been a lot of fun. I have an aviary in the back also that houses a small group of ornamental ducks so this wasn't a far stretch for us. My question is about how many days it takes until goslings are fully feathered? Right now ours are about three and four weeks old and have free range of the backyard which is fenced in. During rain they seem to go and hang out under the deck. I also forgot to mention the breeds. Two of them are 4 weeks old and they are a female African and a male Buff. The other two are three weeks old and are a sexual pair of French Toulouse.

Mine are 5 weeks and are outside ful time. Some are about half feathered and others don't seem to be in any great hurry. I'm guessing that be 8 weeks they will be mostly feathered with their flight feathers still growing out. But that is just a guess as I am new to geese too.
