How long until I get a decent amount of fertle eggs?

What breed are you Hens? Cochins are good broodies. You could get a couple of cochins and in about 5 or 6 months you might have some cute little chicks running around like I do.
 
Great thank you for the suggestions!

My hens are RedStars and they could care less about going broody. But I do have one Buff Orpington pullet Who is the same age as the cockerel so maybe just maybe she will decide to be a broody girl when she starts laying.
