How long will hawk keep coming back?

Should of shut the door on the run/coop. Then get something to dispatch the hawk.

I’m in a densely populated urban area, the only people with guns where I live are cops or gang members...not sure it’s even legal to fire a weapon, not that it stops people. And the hawk was just living his best life...eating a chicken that had spent her last hours eating thanksgiving leftovers. I just don’t want him to get any ideas about the others. She was probably the easiest to see (barred rock) and lately kind of a loner, so probably the easiest get, unfortunately.

You don’t necessarily need a gun once it’s trapped in the coop. But if you’re good with it then there’s nothing much to say. They are all easy for hawks and every kind of predator out there.

We are talking illegal if it involves killing the hawk. Then you will be sleeping with the gangbangers plus a juicy fine.
