How long will it take

I have a trout Indian runner drake and he is eclipse molting but it's been 3 months and he hasnt got his normal feathers back yet
How long should It him to get his normal feathers back

In my experience it has been a gradual process. I would guess a couple more months until he is in his mating plumage.
