I combined all of my ducklings and goslings and there is chasing and pecking going on. How long until they figure out their new pecking order?

I made the mistake of putting my couple day old babies in with 2 week olds. Lots of pecking and biting. They ended up killing one of the little ones but it only took a day or so before they're pecking order was established.

All seems to be sorted out for the most part

but they still are not pleased with the geese. they are not chasing them around any more but dont want them to try to cuddle up with them.

Goslings are more likely to feather pick the ducklings. They get bored easily in a brooder as they have a very strong natural grazing instinct that is not fulfilled. Watch out for bald patches on your ducklings- or picking on that continues as you may need to separate them again. I hope all goes well for you now though. It sounds from what you write that the ducks are giving the goslings a hard time - not the other way around so hopefully they will settle down quickly.

i have given them several jingle bell cat balls and they all seem to love playing with them.

maybe i will plant a lil grass patch in a tub and let them at it for 5 or so min a day
