Since you know you have a staggered hatch, just be diligent and ready to artificially incubate the remaining eggs if they are still viable. Eventually, she will come off the nest to care for the live chick. They live by the mantra - a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
When she comes off to teach the chick, she won't return to the nest often enough to keep them viable. Apparently there is something going on in them, which she can detect. Otherwise she would have abandoned them already.
