how long?

for how long can a duck stay outside in the snow and at what temperature (they have a coop but like to play in the snow)

For as long as they want. They will know when to go back into their dry coop. Mine don't seem to have issues staying outside all day when it's cold wet weather.

we don’t have a run (we do have a fenced in pond area used as a run in summer months and we live in a neighborhood so can’t free range so how long could i let them stay out while i’m our with them?

Where are you..how much snow..ducks feet have blood vessels that are sensitive..to frost bite..so if you are in colder areas you need to think about maybe getting them shelter..or is that what you mean by a run...you’ll really need to take it one day at a time with them..depending on the temperature....

they do have shelter, i meant they do not have a run that they can use during winter and i don’t want them to be cooped up 24/7

i want them to be able to continue their 10-20 minute (harnessed) walks around the neighborhood like we did in the summer
