Got them from Rural King, labeled as 2 diff types of legbars. I am suspicious of the white/yellow ones. I had a broody hen, and my first paycheck from my new job so I treated myself/mama Star. I was thinking the yellow ones were maybe orpingtons?(I dont mind whatever they are. I have some buff orpingtons that I adore) i will note, as im not sure it picks up on camera, that they have a slightly darker yellow around their faces, and their wi g feathers coming in appear white.(asking about both white and partridge chicks!)

Watching the little white ones eat, im thinking buff orpingtons. My girls had the same amount of gluttony lmao

I'm leaning towards you got what you were told and that's not something I usually say about farm store chicks.
CCLs are that chipmunk pattern as chicks. The other variety of Legbars that have become more common from hatcheries are "frost" Legbars. They're white birds that are yellow as chicks.
Watch for little crests popping up. Not all hatchery Legbars have them or decent sized ones but that'll be a dead give away.
I don't know if white Orps are that common to suspect them but most hatchery Orps are buffs which they are not. Orps have white shanks. Legbars have yellow. The legs I see look yellow.

I looked and thought, "OH NO! Meat birds!" But, the Frost variant of Legbar makes sense. And I swear I see a male and female of both colors in the image.

Head spot vs none and washed out look vs crisp markings
