How Long?

How long after a chicken lays her eggs do they go bad? I see lots of people who mail eggs. I would think that as soon as an egg is layed, it should go in the bator, but it also must take time for the chicken to lay a clutch before she sits on them. Can eggs be hatched a week...two weeks after they are layed? What temperature should they be stored?

I think most people store them between 40-60 degrees F before they set them. You don't have to set them same day and I've heard stories of successful hatches after a few weeks.
