How long after a pullets comb/wattles get larger and redder do they usually start laying? I have several that I've noticed this week, and FINALLY got nesting boxes (with golf balls!) in the coop last night... Just curious as to when I will have eggs to "sell" to family...

give it a couple more weeks like 1-3 and you'll have eggs

I got my first egg at 136 days. By 152 days they were all in full production. I now average 6 eggs a day from 8 pullets.
