How long?

How long after a hen's egg has hatched does she begin laying eggs again? I have a hen who layed 1 egg & it has hatched. The chickie is one week old now. So , was wondering when she will begin to lay again?

Usually not until she gives up mothering.
Could be a month or 2.

I have a 5 month old chicken & he/she has been throwing up. I do not know what is causing this. Any suggestions?
