How loud can a little turkey get??

The wild turkeys around here will call to ours from back in the woods. The toms will never come close but the hens do. They will come right up to the turkey areas, early last summer we had 3 wild hens that raised about 25 poults between the 3 of them. 2 stuck together the other was a loner and they stayed around until the poults got big enough to go out on their own. They would graze in the front yard and of course the garden. The last time I saw the local flock in the field behind the house I counted 48 turkeys every year the flock gets bigger and bigger.

And now I see that it is the wonderful geese talking. But I just love them all so much.Got 3 little Black East Indies, can`t hardly even hear them.,,lol My 3 new baby silkies, are very quite, and the turkeys are ready to get out.And all of them I can actually hold in my hand.Every where I go the 2 geese follow me and cry if I put them back in the box.
Oh by the way Peeperpiper,I had to get a Black Silkie Roo to ever get Lucky bred.So that is the way the game goes.
And how many of the free duck eggs, I give to you and your husband hatched.I am so glad that I could help yall by giving you 2 bags of free feed, because at the time my husband was very sick. And I hated to get rid of the silkies and ducks, but it is so much better now.
I could not help notice that yall had some sick birds too.Got from same place as we did.I am very sorry that yall lost all of the ones you got.And we lost a bunch of our new stuff also.Lucky is just started laying eggs. And I did not trade for nothing.I got a White Silkie hen in exchange.Take care to all and God Bless,Sandra

Hey Steve, that is so amazing, about the Wild turkeys. We have some Wild turkeys around us and some turkey houses right in front of us.And they can really tell the news!!!! And all of them are toms.I think they have about 2 more weeks before grown to haul off to sale.Mine is just 1 week and 3 days olds. And cute as buttons. But they were excited when we got them.I guess that is why they were so loud. But In hope thta the Wild turkeys that come around here everyday will get used to our little ones. But ours will be caged and have a big run.We have to keep our poultry medicated, and I am sure yall do too.I am enjoying the babys.,,,Take care Sandra

The wild toms never come very close, you can hear them gobble back in the woods to our toms. The hens will come closer, they have been in the front yard before and in the back by the turkey areas.
