How many bantam hens for 1 bantam rooster?

They are a game mix but they are small they are golden duckwing mix with some type of standard Breed i have one pair now & want to had some more hens & how many can i add & how do introduce them to the old flock? Thanks

7-10 hens to a rooster is what I hear is recommended. I think it depends on the rooster. My serama rooster is very gentle. Right now his harem is four hens-all is well and I have no plans to increase the number of hens. But one hen is not enough. Most roosters are just too rough for just one hen.
