How many banty's can stay here ??

we are in the process of building a new coop/run and almost have it finished - but was wondering how many banty's can live here with out feeling like they are stepping on each other??

the run is going to be 25 feet long and 10 feet wide -- the coop is going to be as wide as the run 10 X 5 - there are also tree branch perches for them to play on.

here is a pic of how it is looking - I dont know if it shows well or not

Two sq feet coop space (hopefully more) and 5 sq feet of run space per banty.

well we only have the frame for the run half done we still have to add the top to keep them from getting out and we need to start on the coop but I wanted to make sure how many we could have out there - so if I had to make the coop bigger we could before we get started.

30+ - holy cow that's alot of chickens LOL I better run back up to TS and see if they have more

LOL ( better not DH would kill me I already have a brooder full now as it is )

I will post pics when we get a little more completed out there

wow with so many banty's i might need another rooster LOL right now I have just the one roo - unless some of the brooder babies are roo's

35 that is awesome !! I always like to build the runs way bigger than needed since my birds have no chance of free rangeing.

after the new banty pen is done we are on to the next project upgrading the duck yard.

going to be a busy summer around here
