11 to 12. Five hens will eat nearly a bag per month.

I have 35 birds and I do about 100 lbs every 7-10 days with snow on ground. Can’t wait for spring to get here and slow that consumption. I do have a few Brahmas and Orpingtons a lot of my girls are big. My roo is a Brahma also. They are just big. Hawks don’t even attempt it.
