I'm at 56 - but I just got started LOL how did that happen

I won't win, though, since I live in town ~ but maybe I could win for the most CONTRABAND chickens ~ heheheheh~

In my head I have only a couple. If you make me count them . . . . 18.
But don't tell husband, they're spread out so that it seems like less.

OMG!!!!! I never really added them up before!!!! I have 102 full grown......and about 60 youngsters.....but thank gawd....dewey101 is coming in the morning to give about 45 chickens a new home!

I have just gotten back into chickens after a short break. I stopped the animals to open my Physical Therapy practice. Missed the critters - mentioned it to DH and kids - got 24 RIR chicks for my birthday. Bought an incubator with Bday money and have about 30 eggs on the way for hatching (first time). I guess I'm hooked again.

Currently I have 6 3 week olds and 19 5 day olds. 11 of those are rooster packing peanuts so hopefully i'll end up with less than I have now (or rather, I'll give away most of the roosters and I'm sure I'll buy more hens) so.............25 total

25 more on the way
not to mention three broodie banties on eggs
two broodie sussex on eggs due this week
