How many chicks do you hatch out each year?

Katy I have yet to find a local poultry auction here.I have asked around and several people have told me about a couple not too far away but I can't never find out dates.I would love to hatch chicks and sell them just because I love hatching.

I'll be over 100 this month alone so over 100 here

I have another 2 turners ready to go in as soon as these come out..Will hatch non stop through Spring and Summer at least.
Auctions are so risky I would avoid those completely..who knows what you could bring home on your body to your chickens

My first hatch of the year was this weekend and I now have 46 lil fuzzybutts. I have another 60-70 eggs ready to go into the bators, so I will be past that 100 mark by the end of Feb lol. I plan on hatching up til probably Sept/Oct, so I see lots of chicks in my future

Well Im not a breeder I just do it for fun last year i hatched about 15 almost 10 were roos

so i only had five hens to add to my egg layers. but right now I have 40 eggs in the incubator for my first go around for the year.

I started this chicken thing on 7/31/09. Except for the first batch, I have hatched out everyone. So, 25 chickens in 6 months? If I had the whole year, no doubt it would be 50.

And I just set 30 eggs...

Although, I did cut myself off at 30, and put some eggs into the fridge.

I know they are around but I just haven't talked to the right person yet.

I agree, the poll needs higher numbers.
I mean, my incubator will hold over 200 eggs at a time.
