How many chicks / How many losses?

I'm wondering the same thing. I ordered 25 pullets that are to ship today. Our 'priority mail' service here is terrible, but I've kept in contact with the post office and they have assured me that they will call as soon as they arrive. My 6 chicks from TSC have all made it so far with no problems, but I do plan (hope not) to have a few losses with the ones I've ordered. Just hope that the majority survive. I'm most worried about them making the trip to us okay, and that I can get them going with shipping stress etc not being too much of a problem.

Got 24 chicks from McMurray on the 8th of April. All looked great, but I lost one 3 days later. I have since gotten some nutri drench and wonder if I would have been able to save her if I had it then.....Then I added 2 EE's from one feed store, and 2 RIR's from another. So I have 27 now doing well, and hopefully will all keep thriving. It has been scary, especially since losing the little one.

I received 26 from McMurray and bought 3 EEs from a local feedstore. Lost 1 Buttercup from freak perch accident. The rest are doing good and will turn 4 weeks this coming Saterday.
