How big is your coop, and how many chickens are in it already?

I'm beginning to think that question won't be answered.

And it's such an important question. As an example, I have 18 in one small coop (7x7). With the fluid nature of the coop to covered run area to uncovered run, the floor space is fine. But the roosting is at near maximum density - nesting even more so. This was not much an issue before 4 pullets and a cockerel decided to move from the kid coop to the adult coop. The flock allows it, so I allow it. But good gawd, There is so much to consider when keeping chickens.
