How many chicks under a silkie?

I have eight banty chicks arriving Thursday or Friday. I have one broody silkie and one that is thinking about it. I had hoped that I could split the chicks between the two. If the second hen doesn't settle into a brood, and probably a week isn't long enough anyway, could I put all eight under one hen?

I say yes... I have silkie sisters that brood together all the time. That would be ideal, but 1 should be able to handle 8 bantys.
