How many chicks will fit?

I'm currently brooding my chicks in an old cast iron bathtub. I have 6, and I know it's plenty of room for them. I'm expecting 25 more towards the end of April, and have an extra tub, plus another large tub. I'm just wondering how many chicks can I put in a standard tub safely? My third tub is a 'garden tub', and is much larger. Just wondering how I should separate them out to make sure they have enough room

i do 1 sq foot per bird and thats good until about 5 weeks or so when i put them outside....
