How many days does it take for eggs to hatch?

An even 3 wks. or 21 days as stated.

Thanks.My dad is a teacher at the high school and the FFA club is wanting to hatch some of our eggs and do a lesson on the whole prosess. Does anyone think this is a goos idea:D

Are you hatching chickens? quail, ducks, emus, ostrich?

They are all different amounts of time... oh yea, but chickens and pheasants 21 days.

Question though...what becomes of the successful hatchlings? Will they go back home to your place? Or will they be adopted out to various students?

This sounds like a most excellent way to get some kids involved with the raising and keeping of chickens who might otherwise not have gotten involved with them!

They Hatchling will come back home with us after the first week or so.
