How many days?

How many days in a row do your girls usually lay? I thought that they would lay for several days and then take a break for one. My first layer (a BR), has laid an egg every day for the last 1.5months. I thought for sure she would be skipping days here and there, but it hasn't happened!

Wow! That's wonderful! I can't tell you how many days mine lay because I have 9 that have started to lay now. On the average, I get 6 to 9 eggs a day now with a nice sized double yolker in the bunch at least once a week.

Actually, I'm thinking about registering as a Democrat.

Glad were done with all of this political stuff for today. It's dark outside, but I think I'll go and hug my chickens... the Republicans ones that lay and even the other ones that just eat feed and don't produce.... yet.

(If they haven't layed by the first Tuesday in November, I'm sending them to the freezer for later use in the pot!)
