2 permanent residents. A female akita, Azami, and a female shiba, Haruko, both akc registered with japanese lines.

Then we foster occasionally. Our first was a little border collie x terrier that we took in ourselves

Now we are officially fostering for a local rescue that specializes in shibas and japanese dogs. Here is Kenta the puppy mill shiba who just went to a new home with another volunteer that works for the recue

and then Dakota who is now my mom's dog. After much debate we think he is a shiba x husky. Everyone kept saying he looks like all these large breeds and in the end he only got about 30lbs. He also looks a lot like Kenta the sesame shiba above plus Haruko's coat and thicker build and then a slightly less curly tail, slightly different head shape, and black tongue plus being maybe 10lbs over standard shiba weight. The best thing I can guess would give that is adding husky (which can have black tongues) to a not so well bred sesame shiba like Kenta.

How old is Skippy? Are you sure of his parents' breeds? We saw Elmer's mom, definitely a small bullmastiff (with maybe a touch of something else). His dad is a mystery.

I love my Yorkies!!! They are the sweetest dogs!

This is Cricket. She is 12 years old.

This is Murphy. He is a year and a half old. He helps me round up the chickens.

This is Sam. She is 8 years old.

I love all of my dogs!!!!

We have three dogs, a chessie named Buddy and two wirehaired pointing griffons, Blaise and Comet.

Comet is the newest addition; we belong to a local NAVHDA chapter and it is really been fun!
