How MANY eggs can a medium sized chicken hatch?

I have got a broody hen that is medium size. I have decided to pick up a dozen fertilized eggs from a local farmer for her to hatch. Can my hen successfully warm all 12 eggs? If not, how many should I let her lay on?
 
Yes. She shouldnt have a problem. My last broodie hatched 14 of 16 and she isnt real big either. Seems like they can spread out pretty good.
