Chinese Skullcap root extract for Marek's

I got my delivery of Chinese Skullcap root extract yesterday. It says it is dissolvable in hot water but I have my doubts. Has anyone used this yet? What's some good ways to prepare?

I don't see the word Baicalin on it. That's the only version I know of to use. You do not put it in the water. It needs fat to help with its uptake, so you can mix it in a little bit of coconut oil or something like that, and add it to their feed. Because I have Kaytee Exact + Fat Baby Parrot Feed for supplementing a sick chicken or my crossbeak, I use that for the fat. We mix it in 50# feed at a time.

There is a Facebook group called Positive About Mareks and Avian Leukosis Virus with all of the info and their research fact sheets. They have a lot of helpful tips for other products and/or holistic products that may help too. Nothing is a cure for Marek's, though. It's said to stop the growth of tumors.

@2ndTink is who I first heard of that started this, as she has a Marek's positive flock. We've not had either Mareks or AI, so we administer twice the preventative dosage, a practice we've maintained for over a year, including for newly hatched chicks. Even the ducks get it just because they eat the same feed.

As for science, I used to believe in official science. After 2020 I learned the hard way that official science is corrupted and full of ****.
Not my fault if they made me became what I am. They did it, not me.

There is a saying for this:
“ Throw the baby out with the bathwater.”
Or.. better. Don’t!

Also “Don’t throw the champagne out with the cork”.
Not every so called science research is wrong. Most are correct and give reliable conclusions.
But if a commercial company paid the research its often manipulated to give results the company can benefit from.

That is correct, just use the dosage on the chart. You can measure out you feed by weight, add a little oil to some of the feed, mix the herbs in, then thoroughly mix through the whole bucket of feed you had weighed.

Extra effort but worth the time and money to help your flock. I went from losing chickens to Mareks, to only losing a few to cancer (caused by Mareks) after I started CS/B, and this year I've seen no Marek's activity. It will not stop or treat existing cancer cells.

I have a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated chicks from this year with no Mareks losses, they all get CS/B.
