How many eggs can a silkie hatch?

I have a silkie hen that may be going broody and was wondering how many eggs I can put under her.

I would be putting bantam eggs under her.

i got mmine with 4 regular eggs and 2 turkey eggs and she is doing a good job

My Silkie hen hatched 6 chicks--her own eggs.

Okay, thanks so much! I think I'll wait a few more days to make sure she's actually broody and then put some eggs under her.

Just a funny comment, my silkie layed her first eggs in Jan/Feb then went broody. Now she's finally back to laying again and this time I'm holding her eggs waiting for her to go broody again

If she doesn't go broody by the end of the week these eggs are going in the bator. she's layed 5 eggs so far so we'll see how many eggs it takes for a silkie to go broody.
