How many eggs did you get last month from how many hens?

I got 94 eggs from 5 hens last month!!

Looks like this month will be a record low.

I'm SO glad you asked. Been keeping a spreadsheet, just because I'm THAT way!

I have five 1-year olds. In April, they laid 112 eggs! And that was with one broody who took over 2 weeks off egg-laying. In May, so far they've laid 104 eggs - and we're still counting.

i got 331 eggs in april from 16 hens. i have 19 hens now and for may i have got 377 eggs so far.

589 eggs from 23 EE's, my girls are good to me I get pretty much 20 eggs a day with the occasional 18 egg day.

Okay I need to get the calulator out.

50 hens average of 36 eggs a day this month { down from 45 last month}

36 times 7 = 252 a week

252 x 4= 1008 this month

For April I got 34 eggs from 2 hens. And for May I've gotten 71 eggs so far from 3 hens.

And my spreadsheet's setup to give me % production for my 3 hens, from when they started laying until today. My EE is at 91.80%, my BR's at 80.49%, and my silkie (who just went broody) is at 80.00%. I might have to change my silkie's to monthly as the broodiness is really going to make that stat fall.

In May, we got 118 eggs from 5 hens.

LOL I thought I was the ONLY one that kept track of eggs on a daily bases.

For the months of Feb. and March. I had nine hens. 220 eggs in Feb, 229 in march

For the months of April and May I had eight hens. 209 eggs in Apr. and ONLY 156 in May.

I have a RIR and a White leghorn that have been only laying about one egg a week for the last month
