6/7 for us...our slacker has been fostering our 11 week old chicks and refuses to stop being broody

We got one out of eight yesterday. A word of advice; never decide it's a good idea to buy 3 year old hens. They are bloody useless.

my 3 hens have given us 0 (zero) eggs in 8 days! It is pretty frustrating.

I'm blaming it on molting, broody, heat, hidden nest, rat in the coop, bad attitude, ungratefulness . . . etc. etc. etc.

Yesterday I had only 2 out of 12 that are mature enough. Today I had six...usually get about 8. Still waiting for all of my others to get on with the laying!
