5 yesterday, 3 today...

40 eggs, four days, 18 hens...minus 4 to minus 18 CELCIUS! Not bad! Coop isn't below freezing yet, with the heat lamp. 2 of the Best days ever with 11 and 12!
Six hens are the fancy types, 9 elderly commercial egg layers, 3 EE (old!). I'll be making good use of the recipes in the forum if they keep this up!
I never thought the 8 rescued hens would start laying this fast...

Lit the coop for 14 hours yesterday, today I got 1 out of 1 layer!

I got 7 eggs from all 7 of my Girls. This is my first year with chickens so I feel like I got the case of beginners luck

My friends who have been raising them for years arent getting near as many as I am and always ask my secret... I spoil them girls rotten!

Im in this for the company of the chickens themselves so the eggs are an added bonus
