1/4 big eggs... one pullet egg?

4 out of 5. My araucana (?) Laid the weirdest and most disappointing brown egg. It's her first It was torpedo shaped, powder coated and felt like sand paper. But most of all, it was BROWN. I fear I may have been ripped off. She is rumpless, standard colored and has tufts. She LOOKS textbook araucana.

I have some eggs that feel like sand paper too. Is that normal ?

I guess it's caused by being in the track too long because of stress. I googled it and that came up as being the most common reason.

I have 5 chickens an they just starting laying eggs an I got 3 the first day but now I am only getting 1 a day it that normal?

Today I got 4 eggs from 6 pullets . The week before last I was getting 5 eggs per day! Wow! The one not laying yet should be laying soon as she is doing " the squat "! They are all about 5 months old
