I feel so silly when I tell my sisters the reason they're not getting eggs is because the weather is too cold, and then my ladies go and lay 10/14 for 3 days in a row. Then it drops to 1 or 2. Manic chickens.

We got 1.5 feet of additional snow today. And then it rained ...

9/11 today! 65 degrees today laying a little better.

8/10 today. Still waiting for the lone holdout to get into the groove.

0/4 again. 3 days in a row no eggs.
But we just sold our two heritage chickens so as of this evening were down to two laying chickens. Hopefully buying two more in the next day or two.
