I got 26 eggs today out of 30 hens. I am a happy man.

I got 9 today. I've been turning the barn lights off at 6 after I feed all the animals. The plan was to get the girls to slow down their laying. It isn't working! LOL

On another note, I got this cool spotted egg today and I have no idea who laid it. We haven't had a spotted egg since we lost our splash Marans during the summer. I'll have to keep an eye on the coop this weekend to see if I can figure out where it came from.
