How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I have five pullets. To our surprise, we collected a dozen eggs today...the first time they have laid, and they're only 5 1/2 months old. Is this normal? Seems like an awful lot of eggs!

they hid them from you. Lol. Definitely not laid all yesterday

Both days with egg laid outside in run! How do I stop this? It's only happened one other time and it was when I redid nesting boxes. Still ceramic eggs in boxes along with nesting herbs.

Nesting herbs? new one on me.. mine kicked the ceramic eggs out
color me blush but half of it is growing in my ever blooming herb garden
