How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

7 eggs yesterday and only 5 today. Lost another hen yesterday due to hawk attack. I found her when I got home (after dark). She was in the dog yard and had literally lost her head ( and neck).

great way to give you a very big hawk dislike I am so sorry

I am 13 of 18 + 2 Put 16 in incubator against my
better judgement.. figuring on moving my pullets from
the pad in with the big girls big wire kennel is perfect
to introduce new pullets

I've been averaging 11 eggs out of 19 hens. SU-LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!! (I know that is not how you technically spell it........) And the worst part is, they are under a year old!

I believe with the trauma and drama for past 2 days is causing egg to go down yesterday and today.
Today was only 4 and yesterday was 8. 2 of the every day layers are put separate from the others due to severe pecking injuries. No easter Eggers today, which would've brought up 3 more.

ahhhhhhh I am the same. They better lay their weight soon. We have 26 girls total, 5 new non layers, 2 regular non layers and 17 layers now (new layer as of Tuesday) & 2 layers not counting yet as they are quarantined still.

nice numbers! We are struggling with the introduction part:/ especially since we have 2 new groups now which they couldn't even be together
