How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Eggs? My girls are supposed to lay eggs? They don't seem to think so.

I got 12 yesterday, from my large-egg laying group of Brahmas, an Orpington and an EE of which I have 15 in all. I don't count my small eggs from the Silkies and Bantams for some weird reason..I get a bunch, I just don't count them. It started out kinda weird, as the 15 standards only began to lay a bunch about a week ago...they were molting and after their new feathers grew in they all started laying at once-I was only getting a couple of eggs a day, then last week I went out and there were 6, then 10, then 9, then 14, and yesterday 12. I could have that arrangement out of order, but that's about right. Today I ordered 10 more pullet day olds...I can't talk about it, except to say something about the different egg colors turn me on.
