I didn't find anymore at 6:20 or lockup. So 4/5 yesterday.
A hen was in nest at 5 a.m. and by the time I filled the under coop waterer and the one in the pen. She was singing.
5/5 today. GC

21/23 but I broke one ,I think I had it had a thin shell.

so far sitting at 10 so daylight still here just 6 pm or 10 till
so girls in for the night we are at 10 with feather city in and around the coop all birds accounted for

3/20 (a few of the girls just started laying last week). Looks like one of the EE hen lays olive, one lays a lighter green, and the other hasn't started yet.

my mother in law reported 2 things to me today one is my RIR's are giving 2 a day and my light brahmas have been killed by something I have been away since the 10th not due home for 4 more weeks or longer I miss my girls but hubby needs me with him right now

19/23 I think both of my broody's are giving up so I may start getting some more soon

Good luck! I have 2 that have been broody for what seems to be FOREVER! The one has had 2 chicks hatch out but not make it. I think she is going to have to go to freezer camp. She keeps going broody, but sucks at it. She hasn't been successful ever, I think. The other 1, I believe is the one that hatched 1 and adopted all of the other broody's chicks that I hatched out in the incubator {after I got tired of her killing them all when they hatched}. She is sitting on 13 eggs. We'll see how she does this time.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your light brahamas and of whatever it is that your husband is going through. Good luck and best wishes to you.

The heat has really impacted egg production here. Only got a dozen eggs again yesterday.

21 of 23 or 25 if you count my broody's I have 2 red broiler chickens and 4 FMC that will be laying soon There was a Huge egg last night. I thinking one of my red broilers may have laid it.
