How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

We got 12 out of 15 adult hens. 3 of them are senior citizens, lol. We sometimes get 14 still, so I am pretty happy with that!

Only got 6 out of 14 today. That’s the least amount I’ve gotten in a long time.

I'm getting much fewer eggs also. For, at least the last week. We were averaging between 14-18 eggs per day-usually half bantam and half standard. Only bantams are broody but the big girls have slacked off too. Some I see in the nest box and they don't lay an egg.
We got 8 today 5 out of 12 large birds, 3 from 6 bantams. Two bantams are sharing babies, ones eggs started hatching today, and three more set to hatch eggs in the next two weeks.

I would start looking for hidden eggs/nest. Maybe they got the date wrong for Easter.

Yesterday turned out to be 17 eggs. Tonight I got at least 17 eggs. 2 hens are sitting on nests. They have been trying to go broody for a while now but usually they stand up when I go to collect the eggs and the eggs are usually cold. Tonight they did not stand so I let them keep the eggs. 1 I know has 3 eggs (included in my count of 17) the other hen I don't know how many eggs she is sitting on. I figure it is at least 1.
