I appreciate the effort to help! They’ve been doing this for a few years though. Nothing we’ve done helps. They have a handful of ceramic eggs in there already too :T

13 today. 3 broody hens now! It’s another banty Cochin. She’s piling up in the box with the other broody when I take her 1 egg. So ima give her some I had in the house and whatever the other 2 decide to lay tomorrow.

I had a hen peck me bad trying to get the eggs under her! Whenever I have a hen not wanting to give it up I usually just do a shhhh sound and pet her and all's good. This one screamed at me and got me good.

Got 11 eggs out of 17 chickens. One is a chick, two are broody, and one is a rooster, so 10/13, I guess. (Some of the girls are around 5, so they’re laying less, too)
