Only 2 but my mom somehow locked my chickens out of the run (and thus the coop) so they didn’t have access to the nesting boxes for who knows how long. I am guessing there was 1 or 2 laid somewhere else.

Got another 6 out of 6 today. The giant egg wasn't quite as big as yesterday's big egg.

I gave the girls all the skins and seeds from around 20 pounds of tomatoes. I made salsa today.

Well…we HAD two eggs…until sis found this guy having lunch! She locked the girls out of the coop til my nephew got home from school and he managed to get him out and carried him off to the woods.

Yep, it was a big one. I should've weighed it but turned it into scrambled eggs instead. One of the hens lays these big ones, one every two or three days. Single yolk with extra white. Poor chicken. It must hurt. LOL

15 eggs today. I have absolutely no idea who is laying what anymore. Except the silkies who are in with the old Roo. They lay about every other day now, they are 3 1/2 yrs old now.

It looks to be an eastern or western rat snake, depending on location. they can be hard to tell apart.
