24 from our 30 GC's!!! Down a couple from a few days ago but at least its 2 dozen I can take in on Monday... Still hot here in Central NC but we're expecting a cooling off for a few days starting tomorrow. We're supposed to get some rain. Can you believe it?

have not been doing well over a week 11 hens lucky to get 2-3 eggs today only 2.

6 out of 10 hens. Considering the heat wave we've been having, and that it was 105 today, I am THRILLED with my girls!!

I have 6 laying hens and have only been getting about 2 eggs a day. today only one. Plenty of water, plenty of food. Is it too hot. Also... our second flock just turned 20 weeks so we have 21 soon to be laying hens. can that change laying habits with the older ones? thanks for any replies.
